Lainio Snow Village - a magical world of snow and ice

This journey begins from our safarihouse, you´ll get the instructions to drive and get to know the driving regulations. Also changing the driving gears before the start.

Off we go!

Even when you’re driving really fast, it’s always worth slowing down, when you come across some truly great scenery. And there’s certainly plenty of that to spare on this safari! We drive through snowy forests, spruce-covered bogs and over frozen lakes. When we arrive to Lainio Snow Village, it is time to step in to the magical kingdom of ice and snow, let the snowmobile rest for a while.

We can have also lunch in the restaurant if you feel hungry after the drive. If the temperature is well below zero (and it nearly always is), you’ll be able to enjoy ice- and snow sculptures crafted by both local sculptors and some from further afield. Just take your camera along and let it sing.

Back home

Then it’s time to set of home. You might think that, after such an ‘ice show’, your teeth will be chattering, but quite the opposite. With warm hearts, we drive our snowmobiles back to Levi at a leisurely pace.
